On May 23, the Art&Shock gallery (Paphos) hosted an exhibition of works by our adult students, organized jointly with the Dreams gallery (Limassol). Participation in the exhibition was a new and special event for our students, who gained valuable experience. The exhibition was very successful. It was visited by many guests from Paphos and Limassol. We received many positive reviews. All of this inspires us and our students. We are already preparing a new exhibition.

Friends, this year our school took part in the carnival that took place in Peyia for the first time. Using costumes, we told the story of the history of art. Each participant came up with and made their own costume using natural materials and cardboard. The children and parents had a great time at the carnival.

Friends, we are waiting for you to visit us throughout the month. Our school features paintings by the wonderful artist Joanna Renwick.

Our school went on an en plein air trip to the picturesque village of Kafikas. Everything went wonderfully! Our students had the opportunity to depict the village’s architecture and nature from life. We visited the Kafikas Local History Museum, where we were given an excellent tour. It was wonderful: each student was able to draw several sketches and paintings during the day. This is a valuable experience that you don’t get from working in a workshop. We’re all already looking forward to the next en plein air trip!

Paphos Friends, this year our school is taking part in the Carnival. The procession will take place on February 15 in Payia. Our theme is "History of Art in Costumes". Join us!

Since 2004, Toyota has been holding a competition that unites the imagination of children around the world. Young talents present the cars of their dreams... Since 2004, more than 7 million children from more than 100 countries have participated in the global competition! We are proud to present our student Valeria Tanasidou, the winner in the "Children 12-15 years old" nomination, and her work "Starcar: Traveling with natural technologies".

Friends, our dream has come true!

We have long dreamed and planned to create a school that would be modern, beautiful, functional and comfortable. According to our plans, it was supposed to become not only a place for classes for children and adults, but also an exhibition hall, a space for gathering creative people, territories for master classes and creative evenings. We also really wanted the school to have stunning views of our beautiful Cyprus and the sea. We are proud to announce that we have succeeded in all this! Now you can depict a stunning sunset without leaving school. We have a place to teach, create and communicate with you!

The opening of the new Nikos Mugyaris Amphitheater in Afienou (Larnaca) took place at the end of May 2024. The opening ceremony was conducted by the President of Cyprus, Nicos Christodoulides. Angela and Maxim designed and created a panel decorating the entrance to the theater. Their project won the first place in a competition organized by the Government of Cyprus.

Their garden decoration project of the Afienu Elementary School was also awarded.

At the end of August 2024, Maxim Anferov completed his work as the chief production designer of the American film Entropy. This is not Maxim's first job in the film industry. In Moscow, he worked at Mosfilm and took part in the filming of various films. But it was his first time in Cyprus in such a role.

Our students got a great opportunity. They took part in the creation of monumental sets for the film, and also had an invaluable opportunity to learn how cinema is created, and discovered new ideas for their future careers. This is not the first time that Angela and Maxim have entrusted their students with such a demanding job as creating decorations.
